1st Blog: Full of Good News

Alright, so over the past few months, I've been writing tons of music.  I do it as an exercise to keep myself sharp, and you never know when something good can come out of just messing around.  So, one day, after I learned about the sleep cycle and Circadian rhythms in my Psychology class, I decided to write an album based off the sleep cycle.  One day later, I had written 7 songs that were equal to 43 minutes of music, and it all came together so well.  I have never done anything like that before.  So I decided that when I got some money, the album could be released as "Circadian: the Music of Sleep", and would be a sort of experimental, more artsy kind of music than music you'd listen to dance to.  It kind of works like a relaxation tape, it will help you sleep.

After I finished "Circadian", I started working on other projects, just doing random things and seeing what I could come up with.  I began writing silly songs, which gave birth to the idea of an album entitled "Nobody Gets Me".  The album title is in reference to my thoughts and the way I act, because I sometimes can be very loud and out there, and sometimes I'm quiet but say the most unusual things or come up with the strangest ideas.  So the album will be composed of songs and skits that my friends and I have come up with ideas for.  One song on the album, named "Package Deal", is about all the different nicknames for penis.  In fact, the only words used in the verses are nicknames for penis.  Another song on the album will be "Lesbian", which is about a boy falling in love with a lesbian, who is obviously not interested in him.

And finally, at the same time as working on "Nobody Gets Me", I am working on an album project I started last year, called "Dark Atmosphere".  This album will contain more dark and heavy songs, including the guitar duel "Superiority Complex" as well as other, more industrial songs, and songs with deeper lyrics or darker content.  This album started last year, in October, and has been reworked many times.  The album was completed once, but before I looked for anyone to help me release it, I looked back over it and scrapped many of the songs that were on it.  This has happened several times since.  Of the original 14 songs, only 3 are left to still be on the album.  However, my skill with Fruity Loops and other programs has improved, which has led to better music production, and the album is now heading in a direction that I think is going to lead to it's completion.  It is already halfway done, and includes a couple songs that were written long ago that I never considered for albums because they didn't fit with anything else.  So everything is finally going well for this project, which I am eager to finally finish.

This is my first blog, and it is full of good news.  The only problem I have now is that I need a label, or a producer, or someone to help me get off the ground, whoever that may be.
