My influences regarding drums and my particular style (no particular order): Peter Criss, Dave Grohl, Liberty Devitto, Kenny Aronoff , Steve Smith, Alex Van Halen, Stewart Copeland, Dan Needham (had the great fortune to meet Dan at a session, great guy!), Stanton Moore, Rick Allen, Chad Smith, Kelly Keagy….Influences regarding drums in general, Steve Gadd, Zoro, Terry Bozzio, Mike Johnson, Derico Watson, John Bonham, Buddy Rich, Louie Belson, Dave Wekyl, Carter Beauford, Russ Miller. Influences regarding music in general, include those I've had the great fortune to play music and jam with thru the years including (in no particular order) Steven Antrim, Kelsi Antrim, Steve Bryant, TAOKAB (The Artist Otherwise Known As Butch) Wilson, Darryl Meza, Steve Burtchaell, Charlie Miller, Steve Rosen, Bob Cross, Charlie Dodrill, Gene Ethridge and his Band, Robert Wells, Charlie Smart, Trey Lambert, Jody Hill, (Uncle) Billy Stafford, Mrs. Caroline Drinkard…In the last few years I’ve delved into the online collaboration scene and also had the opportunity to meet and collaborate with some great folks on some great music including (again, in no particular order) Michael Mitchell (Ziggy), Bill Nichols (Vectorstation 2), Lee Barry, Hans Jörg Bordin (Noneric), and Jussi S. Regarding music in general....Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, KISS, NSYNC (come on, I’m kidding…), John Mayer, Keith Urban, Charlie Dodrill, Fray, Blues Traveler, Cold Play, Dave Mathews, Medeski, Martin and Wood, Jack Johnson, Johnny Cash, Michael Hedges, Sheryl Crowe, Elvis, the Police, Stanton Moore, REM, Eagles, Aerosmith, Green Day, of course the Beatles. Regarding life in general…my awesome parents, my wonderful wife, my fantastic kids, all of my great friends, the Chuckster(38), and of course Jesus Christ…
