My name is Kieran Hennessy. I have been involved in music for about 14 years now. I started out playing drums for a few year as i worked my way through secondary school. When i finished i got into turntables, just mixing drum and bass. After a couple of years (mid 2003) i started a BTEC Nat Dip Music Technology course at North Devon College. There i met some other like minded musician, allowing me to really express my ideas on the turntables with other turntablist. After a while i realized that this was my instrument of choice, so i spent the whole 2 year course studying everything about turntablism, studying certain dj's ( Dj Qbert, D-Styles, Dj shadow, Mix Master Mike........)
I used to practice for no less than 6 hours a day, which i feel gave me a massive advantage over the other Dj's that i was working with at the time. I knew this was what i really wanted to make career out of. So i put in a lot of time and effort. And i now feel that its really payed off, as i now have 2 EP's and 3 Albums under my belt, all done on my turntable. One of those albums that I'm really proud of being involved on was a compilation album of 12 separate renditions of 'Idiot Bastard Son' by Frank Zappa. I was involved on the track constructed by Fraz Knapp Fusion Projects.
I am also co-Founder of The Breaks Collective, a 6 piece Live Hip-Hop band. We have just released our first album which was recorded and produced by me. Which has now led me on to realizing that i love production and recording, so am in process of constructing a recording studio/Creative Training environment, located in a little village called Swimbridge - North Devon.

Also working with the Breaks Collective has allowed me to share the stage with some legendary Acts.
