Working With Others

How I Work:

Impulsively.

Experience:

I sang in a professional boychoir that traveled to Australia, Germany, Canada, and various states until I was 14 and became interested in instruments. I played in bar bands, jazz band, showchoir band, and small rock groups until college at University of Michigan. There I played in the gamelan ensemble, went to India and learned sitar, and played in mostly "experimental" groups and the like, most notably a Mr. Bungle-like metal band called Cojum Dip. With practice I can play anything, my technical skills and speed are limited because I'm more focused on good composition than pure velocity.

Equipment:

KORG MS2000 digital analog modeling synthesizer, Fender Super Reverb 4x10, Fender Stratocaster, KORG Kaoss pad, Hohner Melodica, a sitar made by some guy in Benares, India, a Deering Goodtime banjo, an Epiphone Thunderbird Bass, and a Crate BX-50 bass amp.
