Man, thanks for the friend invite. I checked out some of your tunes. I made the observation that you play rather fluently on the classic stuff that you can break loose with, however (here he goes~~lol) I also made the observation that in your creative stream our differences in style are that where I would run for a fluid part, you attack in staccato, punctuated riffs. It works...not my style...but it works. Anyways, I was looking at your axes and noted that you have a couple of Epiphones. Man, I miss my casino. It's a sweet axe that has no parallel if you've got your hands on the late 60s/early 70s versions. I have owned the Broadway, Casino, and now the Epiphone ES-175 version. Nice axes!! Anyways, the one thing that I love is the Hagstrom Swede. I tried to buy one before I left Germany; even had one identified from a seller in Sweden. But I guess after I took him up on the $850 offer, he looked up the price book and ran it up to $2200. I would have paid it if I'd known that up front, but the guy was trying to "work" me on the price. Now thinking I should have paid the cost and just chalked it up to happiness...LOL Anyways, nice pieces. I'd never hear the Axon-100 track before, but I do own the GR-33, and it tracks similarly. I have pretty much adjusted to the tracking intricacies on each sample, and know what to stay away from. Was hoping I'd hear you play a good nylon box sound on one of your cuts. Have a great one, hoping to post pieces to mine soon. Just working on some stuff that isn't copyrighted yet...you understand.
