David A wrote on September 5, 2008 :
Thank's anne..................actually i purposley did'nt listen to your version , i wanted to see if we would come up with something along the same lines.............go figure.........so it was refreshing to here your version after i completed mine..............i think we did the same kinda thing on the very last bit...................no surprises there.

Dave.............your number 1 Fan.

ANNE & MARTY wrote on September 3, 2008 :
i think it's amazing dave can come up with something so different after hearing another version.
ok, now i'm jealous, too!

bill w. wrote on September 1, 2008 :
damn david, that is awesome, don't get me wrong anne, yours is awesome too, but this is something different, I can't believe how it fits too

David A wrote on August 29, 2008 :
Really nice melody......i love the key's.............you play in a style very close to a freind of mine, Brad Preston......really nice.
Anne and Marty i love what you did as alway's..........could'nt resist doing something with this one.

Dave.

Thank you, Noel, for your kind words! Anne made this song what it is. I'm polishing the piano performance. Within the week ( I always promise like that!) I'll post a cleaner mix of the song.

Noel Burke wrote on August 27, 2008 :
Beautiful composition... I really enjoyed it very much. The production seemed fine from my less than ideal PC speakers - and I would love to burn it to CD and crank it up on the home playback system or listen to it in the car on my 1 hour commute to and from work to get some other ideas. Very nice - I'll check some more of your material shortly... I would have to assume that its very similar in quality to this one - which makes me even more eager. Thank you! Noel

ANNE & MARTY wrote on August 23, 2008 :
you guys are too good to me.

bill w. wrote on August 22, 2008 :
i really loved the new recording, anne, you're so talented

Oregon Chad [DJ®C] wrote on August 22, 2008 :
Brilliant, Anne. I'll be working on this for all weekend . Thanks so much!

ANNE & MARTY wrote on August 22, 2008 :
well now i got rid of the crickets, put some gloss on the lip smacks, and disguised the cord bangs.
individual trax seem waaaaay wimpy to me, but i feel satisfied with this mix.

i'll send you trax forthwith.
anne

ANNE & MARTY wrote on August 18, 2008 :
yeppers, i concur on the less.

we've got crickets, a couple of not so good lip smacks, and maybe a headphone cord bang or 2.

but i think the earnestness is there, in spite of all the imperfections. - thanks for chiming in, marcel.

will ye be havin the separate trax, then, chad laddie? dry, mono, mp3 or do you need aif?

Oregon Chad [DJ®C] wrote on August 18, 2008 :
Good insight, Marcel. I am coming to share that view. This piece is most poignant in its simplicity and Anne's done a beautiful job with it! I started a string track, myself but I'm having second thoughts. Anne, a truly top-notch job. I love the light harmony treatment in the newest mix. I'm guessing that you feel the same way? less is more.

Marcel Kuemmet wrote on August 18, 2008 :
I thought about adding a guitar or string key track, but this is so beautiful just the way it is ... I think I will leave well enough alone. Sometimes less is more, and I love this as it is.

bill w. wrote on August 17, 2008 :
i'm finally finding a driver for my hardware for vista, so i'm gonna try it out on my laptop as soon as I can find the box, so i'll get the bass line fixed ASAP

ANNE & MARTY wrote on August 17, 2008 :
boss,
whatchathink?
i left some crickets...

Andrew Rolle wrote on August 13, 2008 :
Great song.. looking forward to the finished.. if there is anything I can do to help don't hesitate to ask... if it is within my ability to do so.. thanks again for a great song.

Oregon Chad [DJ®C] wrote on August 2, 2008 :
Thanks, Anne :-)

ANNE & MARTY wrote on August 2, 2008 :
hi, chad. haven't had a moment to myself since brother's arrival, but here's that STILL WIMPY lead from 7-26 to play with til you've got the Real Thing from me. we've got country crickets at PIERCING THRU THE INK and WHAT HAPPENED TO THE WISH WE MADE THAT NIGHT.

ANNE & MARTY wrote on July 28, 2008 :
yes you CAN wait - apparently ALL of us can, as the upload is still busted.
want me to send direct to you?
if so, may i have your email?

Oregon Chad [DJ®C] wrote on July 28, 2008 :
yeah I noticed that 12 hours ago, sh**ty. Sorry Anne, waiting here for things to clear up on internet land. Can't wait!

Oregon Chad [DJ®C] wrote on July 28, 2008 :
The only thing I can think of is it sounds like you're using a condenser mic and I think you'd have better results with a decent dynamic mic (would keep the crickets, frogs and hounds off the recording!) on this track. But other than that, I already adore it so my opinion is biased. If the wildlife get too wild, I'll try a noise gate on the track but I doubt the need for that. By the way, that processing on your vocal ( "echo thingies" in session bimbo language) is just magnificent!

ANNE & MARTY wrote on July 28, 2008 :
oh poo, uploads don't work tonite.
will try again tomorrow.
sweet dreams
anne

ANNE & MARTY wrote on July 28, 2008 :
ok, here's where i am right now.
couple of things to fix:
and the THING that i remember most - mighy be flat at THING
and a better WHAT HAPPENED TO THE WISH end.

anyone else hear anything else sticking out?

no harmony yet. they will be minimal.
i believe this last mix might have hound dogs and crickets and frogs in the background.

that sucks, I wish I could afford to upgrade my account, but the money tree died last year... I wish I would've had it when my mom passed away, it would've made things a bit easier

Oregon Chad [DJ®C] wrote on July 20, 2008 :
Cool. Hopefully I can spend the last of my bandwidth allowance on uploading some strings tomorrow. It's really starting to look like I should upgrade my account.

ANNE & MARTY wrote on July 19, 2008 :
sorry guys, i got my schnazz all messed up today beating a rosemary bush into submission.
hopefully tomorrow will be smoother sailing and i can post some decent separate trax,
