A Pedal Tone
I wanted to come up with some interesting song that revolved around a one note pedal tone. In this case, there is a constant A throughout the entire song. It's not all that interesting but it was a good musical exercise for me. Basically, I'd be looking for someone to make it less boring. Feel free to chop it up, move things around, delete parts, etc. and re-post or just add some crazy instruments to make it more interesting.
The basic song just goes A B Em or something like that... then there is a key change where it goes to D, G, A. D, G, A. F, Em. Then back to the A B Em thing. Happy playing!

Hi everyone, I'm not really sure how much more anyone is going to do with this but I'll leave it up and open in case anyone wants to add anything!

Hey Guys, just a heads up, the two tracks here called Indaba Recording TIp have nothing to do with this session - although you are welcome to use them : ) They are snippets from a different song of mine that we are using as an example of something you can do with compresion. You'll see it soon enough on the community page blog but I just wanted to give you all a heads up so you weren't confused - they just needed to live somewhere! Thanks, and welcome to the new members!

I had a hell of a time creating a metronome track to match the guitar and couldn't spend as much time actually doing the part because of that so a lot of it just repeats.

This sounds much cooler than I anticipated! Thanks for working on it. Mantis, where are you? Add some bass my man

I was unable to download the drum track. I've uploaded a mix and a separate electric piano track.
Your call whether or not you envision bass and drum parts in this. Nice changes though and nice
guitar work. I'm anxious to hear what you do with this. Let me know if you'd like any additional instruments (synthesized, that is). I'd be happy to add more if you'd like to hear more.
Best regards,
Ray
