CrushKillDestroy

This is a sludge-y metal song that I was toying around with a while back. It has no vocals - my voice can't seem to do what this song calls for. Sing, scream, weep, whatever.

Very much appreciated.

I'm dealing with a hd crash, so I haven't had a chance to work on this song (or any!). I'm glad somebody is. I'll be back up-and-running soon.

Matthias Kern wrote on June 17, 2007 :
I uploaded a "better" recording of the first part. You can keep it or use as a blueprint for the real vocalist of this song. Here are the vocals:

slash, slit, stab
curse, crush, shoot, blood
starve, mame, blind, destroy
-----------------------------------------------------

Just because i cant get my fingers off this song: I uploaded another vocal idea. If you like it must be re-recorded by the vocalist of this song. If you dont like it just cancel the file - No problem In case you want to use the lyrics:

Medals we earned for the scars we achieved / For the days we served and the days we believed / There is
no point in war save but to win / No point in all the chaos worth the drill
(just strange noises shrill)
---------------------------------------------------

Cool.

Hey Kyle ..I'm gonna pull that and try something different..........

Steve Smith wrote on June 9, 2007 :
Oh yeah........sorry about that........

Kyle Tompkins wrote on June 9, 2007 :
Thanks Steve. Any chance you could upload the guitar track isolated?

Steve Smith wrote on June 9, 2007 :
HI Kyle I should have some wicked fast shredding contributed in a just a short while.......

Kyle Tompkins wrote on June 4, 2007 :
Thanks Damion. I'm leaving the title up for interpretation. It could be about stomping on ants, or whatever... Unfortunately I don't know the BPM because I lost my original project files due to harddrive crash a while back, so all I have is a mix down WAV file. As far as what kind of singing/screaming - I just went to a "Kylesa" show a few days ago and I liked what they were doing. Maybe something like that? Or something like "The Melvins" or "Big Business"? They all have myspace pages. Thanks for contributing.

Matthias Kern wrote on June 4, 2007 :
Lucky one !!! :-)

Damion H. wrote on June 4, 2007 :
Hey,
I can do screaming stuff If you'd like me to. I don't really know what the song is about minus Crush Kill Destroy. lol. What kind of screaming would you like?

Oh and what was the tempo used when you recorded to the click? It says 120 BPMs on the player but not to sure if that's the default tempo of the player.

If you need keys let me knowI have like every Plug-in Synth you can think of.

Let me know where and what you would like me to add stuff and I'll get moving on it. I have the next 3 days off yippy, so I can work work work!

Kyle Tompkins wrote on June 3, 2007 :
I do really like what you did with the slow verse though! Why don't you record the verses and we can find someone else to get loud over the fast parts? That would be cool.

Matthias Kern wrote on June 3, 2007 :
I was also not shure about the vocals over the fast parts. That was the reason why i stopped and waited for comments :-) from 57 sec onwards its just blabla cause I`am not really a shouter (or even singer too). Maybe Jarno, Daimon, Steve ?

Kyle Tompkins wrote on June 3, 2007 :
Hey Matthias. I think the vocal part over the slow verse is great. I really love it. Very sinister, yet trippy.
I'm not sure about the vocals over the fast parts. I'd like to hear something more powerful there. Know what I mean?

Matthias Kern wrote on June 3, 2007 :
Hi Kyle! Hi Folks!

I worked on a rough vocal idea that came to my mind when i was listening to Kyle´s master file of CrushKillDestroy. Please tell me what you think about it...

Kyle Tompkins wrote on June 1, 2007 :
Thanks.

Hey Kyle,
The sessions on the community page must meet the following requirements:
1. More than one member
2. At least 1 Mater File
3. A non-blank description

Kyle Tompkins wrote on May 30, 2007 :
This session doesn't seem to be coming up in the random 5 session rotation on the front page. Why?
