Thanks for having me a part of this project! This is a fine example of great writing! There are some particulars about this song that I would like to point out that highlight Matthias' skills.
Writing: simple, eclectic and relatable to everyone.
Textures: Starting with the acoustic flavors and keeping the same theme throughout. However, just using acoustic instruments doesn't necessarily accomplish this. Choosing Anne & Marty to come on board was a great move.
There is alot that makes a great song and I think "Rainbow" has all the components. You can write a zillion songs and get one "Rainbow".
