The search for the perfect sound is a never-ending quest for most musicians, engineers, and producers. Frank Portalatin has spent his career honing his sound and developing an incredible ear for talent. As part of his diverse career as a guitarist and composer, Frank has toured with C&C Music Factory, jazz saxophonist Alfonso Blackwell, and written songs for Jamie Lynn Siegler from the Sopranos and Istylz of Black Street.

As part of his residency here at Indaba, Frank Portalatin is introducing Teek Me, a music critique service. Frank will be listening to your songs and giving you valuable tips and advice on how to take them to the next level.


To get your song Teeked, join the Teek Me session and upload your mix. Frank will be selecting songs periodically during the course his residency and will critique them in the studio blog below. He will also be selecting songs from throughout the site to critique, so be on the look out.
