Brian Huether - Cello Meets Guitar

4:15
My main goal for the Yo Yo Ma collaboration was to create a sense of drama, hopefullness and musical motion. My rendition begins with an intro that sets the stage for Yo Yo Ma's opening lines. At about 54 seconds, the guitar comes in to meet the cello for interplay, embellishing on the song's melodies. There is also a bridge which serves to provide further harmonic variation as well as an outro to recapitulate the song's hopeful spirit. I hope you enjoy!
